Gaylynn Burroughs
Gaylynn Burroughs is senior policy counsel at the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the nation’s premier civil and human rights coalition of more than 220 national organizations working to promote and protect the civil and human rights of all persons in the United States. At the Leadership Conference, Gaylynn focuses on economic security and leads the work to advance policy priorities for the Employment Task Force. Previously, she was the Director of Policy & Research for the Feminist Majority and the Feminist Majority Foundation. During her legal career, Gaylynn has been a Clinical Visiting Assistant Professor at Fordham Law School in New York City and was also a staff attorney at The Bronx Defenders in the family defense practice. Gaylynn holds a B.A. in history from Yale University and a J.D. and LL.M. in international legal studies from New York University School of Law.
